vata-prakop & Dhatu Kshaya condition. |
Shleshmaguna kshaya is usually not present. |
5. |
RAKTA STHITI |
Rakta
vriddhi is not present, eventually there is possibility of Rakta dhatu
Ksaya in present of vata-prakop & dhatu ksaya. |
Rakta Vriddhi is present and this is cause
of obstructive pathology. |
6. |
LAKSHANA |
Vaivarnyata(Discolouration): Shyavata present which indicate Vata Prakopa because of Dhatu
Kshaya(Traumatic or infective) |
Saraga(Redness): redness (Raktabha) present because of Rakta Vriddhi. |
Tivra Ruja(Severe Pain): Relatively severe pain in presence of Dhatukshaya(Traumatic or
infective). |
Arti(Pain): Relatively less severe pain because of Raktavaran to Vat-dosha. |
||
Santapa(Fever): Because of Jwara which indicates infective/ inflammatory
pathology in presence of dhatu Kshaya. |
Santapa (fever) is not mentioned in raktavritvata. But if vatashonita pathology
takes place deep with pitta dominance
than that may be santapa (fever) |
||
Gatre Arunsh (same as santapa above) |
Sotha and Mandala because of Raktavaran to Vat-dosha along with associated pitta dominance. |
||
Daha(Burning): It presents because of sleshma (Dhatu) kshaya along with Pitta
Prakriti or Pitta Anubandha. |
Sadaha(Burning): because of obstruction of Vata pathway by Rakta (Pitta). |
||
Aruchi(Anorexia): It is present because of “Ashayaapakrsha Agni” as per pattern
of Fever. |
There may be Aruchi because of Rakta
prakopa. (Cha.su. 24). No Ashayaapakrsha of Agni. |

CONCLUSIONS |
It seems an Infective / Traumatic or both, superficial
pathology esp. localised because following references are there: तत्राभिघातजो वायुना दुष्टशोणिताधिष्ठानेन, & तत्राभिघातजे वायुः प्रायो रक्तं प्रदूषयन् ॥११३॥ सव्यथाशोफवैवर्ण्यं करोति सरुजं ज्वरम् । Ch. Chi.-3 |
It seems an Obstructive superficial/deeper
or both Pathologies esp. generalised wider than RGV and closer/similar to 'Vata-shonita'. |
