The pt whose sperm count rapidly decreasing in 35 days was inspiration from all of you.
As most of you advocated Yukti Chikitsa many times and basics of Agni it's only example of that. The pts life style modification and concentration on diet was the only step that I took .
He used to go to Gym but did not do exercise and relied only on taking excessive power packed protein supplements which have soya resulting in bringing down his testosterone level. Alcohol 7 times a week more than 180 ml was other thing affecting his testosterone level . His wife was undergoing treatment for PCOS and from 5 yrs they had no issue trying treatment here and there . And their lady Dr asked for sperm analysis which was not upto the mark for child bearing. It was his wife who forcefully brought him to me for Rx. Listening to her detailed history a conclusion of pretesticular azoospermia was made where pt can restore his normal sperm count. Simple Dhatwagni Dusti management with amapcak vati Bahman Lal & Bahama surkh both unani plants self made powder plus Macuna pruriencs was administered for 30 days abstinence of alcohol and no soya was advised. No big costly secretive formulation, simple basics were applied as guided by you people many times worked on this pt.

Each case of low / nil sperm count should be throughly examined . Mere seeing the reports drugs should not be dispensed . Testicular examination , past sexual activity , immunisation history should always be taken . Many single drugs can be combined to achieve desired results. Azoospermia has been categorised into three types so the pt should be investigated accordingly . Not all cases are curable. Excessive excercise and consumption of too much of soya affects male hormone directly . Formulation revealed in previous post works on low sperm count . Pts of low sperm count are very less in number and only 2% have azoospermia. So a data with large number of pts with azoospermia can't be achieved. Most of the physicians get how many pts of this kind in their life time hardly 9 to 10 in 30 yrs of their practice I suppose unless one advertise for it . In rare diseases one cannot collect a large data . Previous ly a case of polyps of gall bladder was presented, how many of us have seen such a case in 10 yrs of our practice, Patent Ductus Arteriosus how many of us have seen it. So collecting large data in rare cases is very difficult.

ReplyDeleteI am intern doctor at Govt. Ayurveda College Vadodara . I am keen to know about the drug Bahama Lal and Bahman Surekh and the purpose behind choosing it .
Bahaman surkh/lal/red is salvia haematodes and bahaman safed/shwet /white is centeurea bahen/behman. As per ayurved these two drugs are accounted as one of sustitutes of "Ashta-varga-dravyas". Basically these drugs are of Persian origin.
