Prof. M.B. Gururaja Sir is well-known Academician as well as Clinician in south western India who has very vast experience in treatment of various Dermatological disorders. He regularly share cases in 'Kaysampraday group'. This time he shared cases in bulk and Ayu. practitioners and students are advised to understand individual basic samprapti of patient as per 'Rogi-roga-pariksha-vidhi' whenever they get opportunity to treat such patients rather than just using illustrated drugs in the post. As number of cases are very high so it's difficult to frame samprapti of each case. Pathyakram mentioned/used should also be applied as per the condition of 'Rogi and Rog'. He used the drugs as per availability in his area and that to be understood as per the ingredients described. It's very important that he used only 'Shaman-chikitsa' in treatment.

In this ...
Patolakaturohinyadi kashaya 10ml thrice a day after food.
Cap. Psoherb 2-0-2 after food.
Cap. Diapent 2-0-2 after food
Cutisora oil + Kutaja taila  for local application .
Charmamrutha powder 2tsp in 2 litres of water boiled cooled filtered .....for whole day drinking purpose.

*Pathya & Apathya in skin diseases by Prof. M. B. Gururaja Sir, in his own words below-*

Adhereing to Pathyakram and avoiding all apathya is very much essential and  integral part of skin disease management protocol.

Generalised pathyakram which usually I recommend in my skin disease patients ....

Laghu aahaara like rice , chapati, jowar soft roti, ragi balls, khichadi in limited quantity.

Toor dal, Moong dal, rasam , sambar, in sufficient quantity.

Sufficient water, non sour buttermilk, golden milk.

*Apathya to be strictly avoided .*

Total non vegetarian foods including eggs and fish.

All deep oil fried like Pakoda,  bonda, Samosa, chips, vada, Poori, and spicy, Panipuri, Masalapuri, Pizza, Burger, cakes, bread , bun, toast, pastry, puffs, chats and such other bakery, maida and other products and aerated drinks, coffee, and tea.
Brinjal, Drumstick, Green chillies, flat beans, horse gram, black gram, ground nut, Cashew nut,  Arbi leaves, red amaranth leaves, tomatoes, bamboo shoots.

Usually I ask them even to avoid whey protein, soya protein, and even chocolates, ice creams,  incompatible foods and yesterday's left over food.


If skin disease patient even happens to be prameha rogi then all pathya and apathya related to prameha are also Incorporated.
