Whatsapp discussion series- 8 : Maintaining the Liver Cancer- Dr. D.C. Katoch Sir and others

USG Liver Ca before Treatment
USG Liver Ca 2 months Later

[03/04 1:07 PM] Dr. D.C. Katoch sir:

The patient mentioned in the two USG  reports was last given chemo therapy in DMC Hospital, Ludhiana in February 2015. Owing to serious side effects and discomfort she decided not to take any more radiotherapy or chemotherapy and the patient was refered to me by one of my students. I put her on Cap. Cruel, Amritkalash, Tamrasindoor & Manikya Bhasm and Shatavari Kalp. Dry fruits and soups with almond oil were advised as much as she can consume. After six months of this treatment her CA 125 came down from 750 to 105 and  on 20th January 2016 size of the liver cancer in Ultrasonogram was   38 × 34 mm and now on 26th March it is 32×25 mm. In two months there has been 38% reduction in the tumour size and patient's overall condition has improved a lot. Consulting Oncologist said that out of 100 such cases of liver cancer she is the one with non progression of the tumour and fair improvement in quality of life and health index. CBC and KFT are normal though in the last two bimonthly reports CA 125 has increased. Now I have added Suvarn bhasm and lahshun ksheerpak.

[03/04 1:20 PM] radheshyam J. UDPR dr:

सर इस में बादाम तैल का क्या विशेष उपयोग है ? 🙏?

[03/04 1:22 PM] Katoch sir:

Medhya food item is badam taila rich with proteins and neurotropic fats.

[03/04 1:23 PM] Dr Ranga prasad:

Lipid profile maintainance !?

[03/04 1:25 PM] Katoch sir:

Ranga Ji, I am taking care of all biochemical parameters. Lipids are Ok. I don't consider 10%  variation significant for any call.

[03/04 1:27 PM] Dr Ranga prasad:

Oops. That input was to substantiate your inclusion of almond oil in prescription sir.
Almond oil provides HDL maintainance and is a source of vitamins too.
Not posted in questioning regarding lipid profile status of patient. 🙏

[03/04 1:28 PM] Katoch sir:

Ok Dr Range. Please don't take my words otherwise.

[03/04 1:29 PM] Dr Ranga prsad Ay Pith:

No taking other wise sir. You are like my brother.
🙏 Ram Ram

[03/04 1:45 PM] Dr Surendra A. Soni:

 Excellent Sir !
What was the dose of Tamra Sindoor and Manikya Bhasma..?
Why didn't you consider Aarogyavardhini...?
🙏

[03/04 1:50 PM] Dr. Ganga Visnu Chaudhari:

I am very great full know such cases thankful  to  Katoch  sir
Haresh Vyas Ji sir !

[03/04 1:55 PM] Katoch sir:

Tamra Sindoor 5gm, Manikya Bhasm 10 gm and Guduchi Churna 100 gm - all mixed together and divided in to 60 doses. One such dose twice daily with amritkalash.

[03/04 2:09 PM] Katoch sir:

Long term use of Arogyavardhini may be good for agnideepan, medohar karma but tamra content in it being less and mixed with many ingredients may not give desired effects in cancerous tumour. Tamrasindoor being kupipakva rasayog has less dose, sufficient tamra and more fast & sookshmasrotogami to achieve desired effect in liver tumour.

[03/04 2:15 PM] Lokesh Gupta Dr.:

Tamra bhasma/arogyvardhini vati ke comparison me Tamra sindur adhik active form me kam karega and less toxic hoga

[03/04 2:15 PM] Dr. Ganga Visnu Chaudhari: 👏🙏🏼

[03/04 5:22 PM] Pawan mali Dr. A P:

 Katoch sir👌?
....one query sir why you think of  lason ksheerpak better you can use pippali ksheerpak in this case ..

[03/04 7:16 PM] Katoch sir:

Because lahshun has proven potent anticancer activity and hepatoprotective action. Similar actions are possible with bhallatak also.

Case-presentation: Management of Various Types of Kushtha (Skin-disorders) by Prof. M. B. Gururaja

Admin note:  Prof. M.B. Gururaja Sir is well-known Academician as well as Clinician in south western India who has very vast experience in treatment of various Dermatological disorders . He regularly share cases in 'Kaysampraday group'. This time he shared cases in bulk and Ayu. practitioners and students are advised to understand individual basic samprapti of patient as per ' Rogi-roga-pariksha-vidhi ' whenever they get opportunity to treat such patients rather than just using illustrated drugs in the post. As number of cases are very high so it's difficult to frame samprapti of each case. Pathyakram mentioned/used should also be applied as per the condition of 'Rogi and Rog'. He used the drugs as per availability in his area and that to be understood as per the ingredients described. It's very important that he used only ' Shaman-chikitsa ' in treatment.  Prof. Surendra A. Soni ®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®® Case 1 case of psoriasis... In ...
